Am I the only one who gets frustrated by these stories?

It seems that almost every week there is a story of someone who exercised poor judgement, having to be rescued off the mountains by the local fire departments.

Phoenix firefighters rescued eight out-of-town hikers from Camelback Mountain on July 26 after they reported heat-related symptoms.

Cpt. Rob McDade, a department spokesperson, said multiple rescue teams trekked up the mountain after receiving a 911 call regarding the heat-related symptoms shortly after 11 a.m. Six of the hikers were able to make their way down the mountain with help. One hiker was taken down the mountain on a stretcher while the other was airlifted to a hospital where they were treated, McDade said.

All hikers ultimately recovered.
